
Perth & Kinross is home to number of groups and organisations, both there to provide a social space to be yourself and more specific support in times of need.

LGBT+ Groups
Perthshire Pride
The dedicated Pride for the region, celebrating equality and diversity since 2018!
They host an annual Pride celebrating every Summer as well as other social events throughout the year.
Transgender Perth
A social group for those who identify as transgender, non-binary or intersex, as well as their family, friends and allies.
They meet on the first Saturday of each month in Perth.
GLOW Youth Group
LGBT Youth Scotland’s GLOW group is for young LGBT people aged 13 – 25 based in P&K.
They work on a variety of projects and also offer 1:1 support sessions with youth workers. Nationally LGBT Youth Scotland has a number of resources available including an online chat facility.
Perthshire Rainbow Table
An ecumenical Christian worship community which offers a warm welcome to people who are LGBTQIA+ and their friends – all who seek an Inclusive Church.
Tea N Biscuits Youth Group
LGBT Youth Scotland’s Tea N Biscuits group is for young Trans & Non-Binary people aged 13 – 25 across Tayside.
They work on a variety of projects focused on getting the voices of Trans & Non-Binary young people heard and also offer 1:1 support with youth workers.
Rock ‘n’ Books
Perth’s very own LGBT+ book group, exploring a range of reads and authors, and getting together on a monthly basis to discuss their thoughts on books they’ve recently indulged in!

Perthshire’s snappy crew come together for outings, adventures and meet-ups to share their love for photography.
Open to anyone, LGBTQ+ and allies, using whichever camera you have to hand.

An online and occasional social group in Perth to be yourself, talk to others and feel part of the wider community.
Part of Perthshire Pride, this can also lead to opportunities to help with events too!

Support Services
PKAVS
PKAVS provides a range of help for people and families in Perth & Kinross. They support minority communities, those struggling with their mental health and for carers.
They have a number of hubs across the county to provide this support.
RASAC P&K
The Rape & Sexual Assault Centre in Perth & Kinross provide support to those who are victims or survivors of any type of sexual abuse, or may be at risk of abuse. They support young people, women over 18 and those identify as women, and can also make referrals to Rape Crisis Scotland where appropriate.
Terrence Higgins Trust
THT Scotland provide sexual health support, including tailored services in Tayside. This includes providing free HIV self test kits, peer support for people living with HIV and/or Hep C and they also work in partnership with NHS Tayside to deliver sexual health services in the region.
All Strong Scotland
A fitness, health and wellbeing hub based in Perth & Kinross. They focus on providing programmes to promote physical activity, mindful relaxation and peer exchange.
They will provide a blended approach to support your physical and mental health.
Perth Autism Support
Supporting young autistic people and their families, ensuring they feel they have a space to be themselves, talk openly and build confidence.
They have a range of children’s activities and family support through their services, as well as transition services for those aged 14 – 18.
